Le Club Gourmet is a private chef, catering, and meal delivery service based in the Algarve, Portugal. For the purposes of this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Le Club Gourmet.

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the following personal data: your name, your email address, your phone number (optional), and details of your event or enquiry (occasion type, guest count, message).

We do not collect payment information directly. We do not use tracking cookies beyond those strictly necessary for the site to function.

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote or proposal for our services, and communicate with you regarding a confirmed booking.

We will not use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent, and we will never sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry) and, where applicable, performance of a contract (fulfilling a confirmed booking). This is in accordance with Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We retain enquiry data for up to 12 months from the date of your initial contact, or for the duration of any ongoing business relationship. After this period, your data is securely deleted unless we are required by law to retain it for longer.

Under GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, rectify any inaccurate data, erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), restrict or object to our processing of your data, and receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (portability).

Our website is hosted on GoDaddy's Airo platform. Enquiry data submitted via our contact form is delivered to our Gmail inbox. Both services have their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

If you have concerns about how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
